Books A Million Rebrand
In a media campaigns class, we were tasked with picking a brand, identifying weaknesses and then solving those weaknesses with a rebrand. Here I will be walking through the process.

Research and Analysis
The first step was to research the company itself. Look into the goals and identify the struggles. I found that Books A Million’s main threat was its competition. My solution and the goal of my rebrand was to set Books A Million apart with a fun and pop culture inspired vibe.

Sketches
These are ideas that I had for the logo. I look inspiration from comic books to make the letters more playful and fun and to lean into the idea of using the acronym BAM.

The Logo
This was the logo that was based on the sketch I settled on. I ultimately toned down the comic style to be sure it catered to a larger audience and properly reflected the brand.
